  • The Abarth 500e keeps playing with its legendary sound thanks to the Sound Generator feature which was crafted by a team and studio within the Stellantis ecosystem.
  • The Sound System Generator turns the Abarth 500e into an irreverent yet playful electric hot hatch with an unexpected combustion engine’s roaring directly linked with the driving and speed dynamic experience.
  • With this unique feature, the Abarth 500e is one of a kind in its segment and on par with leading higher segment cars while paying homage to 75 adrenalin-fueled years of racing engines.

  • Pre-booking phase generates more than 1,500 pre-orders of the Scorpionissima launch edition across Europe
  • The Scorpionissima launch edition is available from £38,695 in the UK with first deliveries expected from June

  • Presented in November, the all-electric New Abarth 500e is now starring on a tour through Europe

  • Abarth will exhibit at Rétromobile, the oldest classic car show in Europe.
  • Built in 1964, the Fiat-Abarth 850 TC is currently being restored through the Stellantis Heritage department, whose aim is to enhance the historical heritage of the historic brands.
  • The 47th Rétromobile show will take place, from February 1st to 5th, 2023, at the Porte de Versailles in Paris.

18 January 2023: Fiat has announced changes to its UK management team, with Damien Dally being appointed Managing Director for the UK operations of Abarth, Fiat and Fiat Professional, with immediate effect. He will join Marketing Director Giuseppe Cava and Sales Director Iain Brown on the management team.

  • The brand completes its line-up in Europe with the launch of the all-new, fully electric, New Abarth 500e and in Brazil with the all new Abarth Pulse. 
  • The New Abarth 500e is “more Abarth than EVer” thanks to its electric architecture, improved weight distribution, improved torque, and wider wheelbase. It is faster and more exciting in both urban and suburban driving.  
  • Abarth keeps roaring: the New Abarth 500e is the only "little one" to offer the Sound Generator feature, which reproduces the legendary sound of the Abarth engine. 
  • The “Scorpionissima” launch edition is the first electric Abarth ever: an exclusive eye-catching, fully equipped launch version.
  • The Abarth community has been involved in the co-creation process (with the web-based “Performance Creator” project). In return, the brand has dedicated an exclusive pre-booking “priority lane” of the launch edition to all its members.

  • In a first-of-its-kind trial, performance car brand, Abarth, has turned to facial recognition technology to quantify the emotions experienced when driving and being a passenger

 

  • Conducted by Dr Dale Esliger, from Loughborough University, participants were put through driving challenges at Mallory Park racetrack

 

  • Facial recognition technology detected an array of emotions through facial expressions when driving, from happiness, excitement and fear

 

  • The prominent feeling was happiness when both behind the wheel (31.8%) and as a passenger (35.4%)

  • Over three decades after its first appearance, the Padua Classic Car and Motorcycle Show is rightfully considered one of the major European events in the sector. The Stellantis Heritage department is playing a leading role in the event, with a world-class stand
  • Six prestigious classic cars will be on display, in a layout designed specifically for the occasion: Abarth 750 Record (1956), Abarth 1000 SP (1966), Alfa Romeo Alfetta (1974), Alfa Romeo S.Z. (1989), Lancia Aurelia B20 GT (1951) and Lancia Delta HF Integrale (1994)
  • These vintage gems will be joined by the world première of the current Abarth Classiche 1000 SP -  the 2009 project inspired by the 1966 namesake sports car - a rarity brought back to life by Heritage, with only five units on sale.
  • The Padua Motor Show will also serve as an opportunity to reaffirm the fundamental mission of the Stellantis Heritage department, the aim of which is to retrieve, safeguard and leverage the historical heritage of the Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Lancia and Abarth brands. Its objective has recently been emboldened by the first guided tours at the Heritage Hub in Turin, housing around 300 cars that form part of the historical collection owned by Stellantis.

  • Over 40 single-seaters on track for the Temple of Speed in the penultimate round of the Italian F4 with Antonelli as leader followed by Camara and Dunne.
  • At Brands Hatch the last act of the British F4. Leader Dunne, hopes to win remotely, being on track at Monza.  
  • Among the rookies in the British series there is a fight between Ugochukwu and Guinchard.

  • First win of the season in race two, for Oliver Stewart (GBR - Hitech) who becomes the tenth different winner of 2022.  
  • Ugochukwu extends his lead in the rookie standings and is third overall after two second places in Thruxton.

  • In the Brazilian series first victories for Fernando Barrichello, son of Rubens, and Lucas Staico. Clerot remains leader and extends his lead.
  • First race wins for Taylor Barnard and James Wharton in ADAC F4.
