Abarth’s all-new, fully electric 500e will make its much-anticipated UK debut at Salon Privé London this week. The car will be on display from Thursday 20th to Saturday 22nd April as the centrepiece of the Abarth event stand.

 

Taking place at Royal Hospital Chelsea, Salon Privé London is one of the most prestigious events on the global automotive calendar, showcasing many of the world’s most beautiful and desirable cars.

 

Spearheading a new chapter in Abarth’s history, the 500e combines performance, electric power, and style. Present at Salon Privé London will be the exclusive, fully equipped ‘Scorpionissima’ launch edition. Only 1,949 units will be produced – a number that pays homage to the brand’s birth year – and it is available in both hatchback and convertible versions. It comes in eye-catching Acid Green or Poison Blue body paint with 18” Diamond-Cut Titanium Grey alloy wheels and Abarth side graphics.

 

The New Abarth 500e is equipped with a 42kWh battery coupled with a powerful e-motor, resulting in 113.7kW/155PS and 235Nm of torque, combining the performance of the Scorpion with the innovation of electric mobility. It can achieve 0-62mph in just seven seconds.

 

The New Abarth 500e is the first and only city car that comes with a Sound Generator. This feature is for those who don’t want to give up on Abarth’s signature – the unmistakable Abarth engine “roar”. The Sound Generator complements the powertrain performance, reproducing the sound of an Abarth petrol engine.

 

The Abarth 500e is available to order now in the UK, with first deliveries expected in June 2023. Prices for the Scorpionissima launch edition start from £38,695
