DS x MÉTIERS D’ART is entering a new phase, getting closer to naming the winner who will make a unique DS 9 interior.

Europe’s leader in automotive electrification with the lowest average CO2 emissions for a multi-energy brand throughout 2020, DS Automobiles will be the main sponsor for EVER Monaco. From Wednesday 5 to Friday 7 May, DS Automobiles will show its range of electrified cars with DS 9 E-TENSE 225 topping the bill, before it targets another win around the Principality’s race circuit during the Monaco E-Prix on Saturday 8 May. DS 9 E-TENSE 225, the large plug-in hybrid saloon with efficiency that comes from winning titles in Formula E, will be available to test.

DS Automobiles is launching a contest specially for professional artists in France. Created in partnership with Studio Métiers Rares, DS x MÉTIERS D’ART is a competition devised to highlight the brilliance of leading professionals and inspire the development of features that are new to the automotive world. Guardian of French expertise, DS Automobiles is part of an innovative initiative to strengthen its ties with the best French craftsmen. The winner will get a budget from DS Automobiles to produce a unique interior trim for DS 9 as well as a 10,000 Euro grant.

DS Automobiles is adding a new element to “Un Autre Regard”* with an editorial fashion photo shoot dedicated to Paris Fashion Week® Women’s Spring/Summer 2021, following a first edition launched last July. “Un Autre Regard” links the concept car collection designed by DS Automobiles to the world of fashion from emerging brands identified by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode. DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4x4 300 will go with Paris Fashion Week® visitors, all over Paris between 28 September and 6 October, with its ability to drive in zero emissions mode for 75km (WLTP City standard).

DS Automobiles is rewarded for the fifth time since 2015 at the Festival Automobile International, the French International Automobile Festival. To kick off 2020, the "DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4x4, rechargeable hybrid" advertising film won the Advertising Film Grand Prix at the Festival Automobile International, during an evening event organised at the foot of the Dôme des Invalides in Paris.

For three weeks, DS Automobiles will take up residence in Hotel Molitor. This iconic avant-garde venue will be converted into a launch pad for the brand’s electrification strategy with DS 3 CROSSBACK E-TENSE (BEV), DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4x4 (PHEV) and their related services.

As a key partner for the Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille, DS Automobiles will be attending the 5th edition of this exceptional automotive event on Sunday 30 June 2019. At an occasion for the avant-garde, elegance, modernity and heritage, DS Automobiles will showcase the E-TENSE, its latest electrified creations. Visitors will discover the DS E-TENSE FE19, the 100% electric single-seater, currently at the top of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship alongside the DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4x4, a 300 horsepower, high performance Hybrid, and the 100% electric DS 3 CROSSBACK E-TENSE. Exclusive: visitors will be able to test drive the DS 3 CROSSBACK E-TENSE on the driveways of the Chantilly Estate. With the DS X E-TENSE, visitors will be able to take a glimpse at the dream car of tomorrow, which embodies the DS brand’s vision of the luxury car for 2035. The DS X E-TENSE will take part in the Concours d’Elegance parade enhanced by two creations by the designer Eymeric François, which have been specially designed for the occasion. For classic car fans, DS will display a collection of iconic DS and SM models, proof of its rich heritage of refinement and innovation.

Winner of the recent Monaco E-Prix with DS E-TENSE FE19, titleholder of the FIA ABB Formula E Championship and still leader four races before the end of the current season, Jean-Éric Vergne will make his guest appearance at the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday 23 May. The DS TECHEETAH driver will be present in Cannes for the premiere of the film “And we go green”, directed by Fisher Stevens, Oscar winner for best documentary film, and Malcolm Venville. This documentary, produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, follows the 2017/2018 season of the FIA ABB Formula E Championship, which ended in New York with Jean-Éric Vergne's victory.

In 2019, as in 1955, a DS will be on exhibit under the Nave of the Grand Palais, in Paris, like a work of art. Over 60 years after the original DS was unveiled, the DS brand is returning to this iconic space with the DS X E-TENSE for the Révélations event. Révélations, the international fine craft and contemporary creation biennial, will host 450 creators from 33 countries—and an automotive brand will figure among exhibitors for the first time in event history. From 22 to 26 May, the expected 40,000 visitors will have the chance to discover the DS X E-TENSE, the dream car created by DS Design Studio, a unique model demonstrating the exceptional savoir-faire of French craftsmanship brands. Master upholsterers from DS will be on site to share their expertise and passion for artisanry and fine materials with visitors. DS Automobiles will also participate in the Hors les Murs programme, presenting the art exhibit entitled ‘IN CONFIDENCE - Aesthetics of the senses’ at DS World Paris. Visitors can extend their experience at 33 Rue François 1er, which will exceptionally be open on Sunday, 26 May. The official transport company for the event, DS Automobiles has provided organizers with DS 3 CROSSBACKS, the brand’s latest creation and Icon of high-tech style. The public will also be able to try out the vehicle at DS World Paris.

The DS brand is attending the 34th Festival Automobile International, the major automotive design event held in Paris from 31 January to 3 February. Visitors will get the chance to see DS X E-TENSE, the DS brand's vision of automotive luxury for 2035. By its side, DS 3 CROSSBACK, the iconic high-tech style SUV, will be previewed ahead of its arrival in the exclusive DS network in a few months. The prestigious Hôtel des Invalides venue will also serve as a fitting setting for DS 7 CROSSBACK. The first second-generation DS will also be available for a test drive in the heart of the French capital – the best way for the public to judge its leading-edge technologies and meticulous refinement. For fans of adrenaline and motorsport, DS E-TENSE FE19, the Formula E car of the DS TECHEETAH team, will also be on show at the event.

DS Automobiles, the new French brand, will present four world premieres, all electrified models: DS 3 CROSSBACK, the SUV icon of High-Tech Style and its 100% electric version, the DS 3 CROSSBACK E-TENSE; DS 7 CROSSBACK E-TENSE 4x4 equipped with a high performance, hybrid petrol powertrain; DS E-TENSE FE 19, 100% electric single-seater from the FIA Formula E championship, dressed-up in its new 2018/2019 livery; DS X E-TENSE, the Brand's full electric dream car, the vision of luxury on the 2035 horizon. Apart from the DS 3 CROSSBACK world première, the DS brand will be taking orders for this model including the DS 3 CROSSBACK LA PREMIÈRE, its limited edition launch. DS Automobiles will also present the new, limited edition DS 3 FOREVER which will enrich the new DS 3 range. A range which will adopt the new electronics architecture and offer new technology equipments. In the Pavilion 1 at the Parc des Expositions at the Porte de Versailles, the DS booth invites members of the public to immerse themselves in the world of the brand. To know all its current and future news, visitors will only have to let themselves be guided by the LED lights along the path and follow the E-TENSE signs (E-TENSE is the designation for all the electrified versions of the DS models). During this evening’s opening ceremony for the 33rd Festival Automobile International, Thierry Métroz, DS style director, received the ‘Award for Best Interior’ for DS 7 CROSSBACK, presented by Etienne Gernelle, president and CEO of Le Point magazine. “To receive an award from an exceptionally talented judging panel, design experts in worlds often far removed from the automotive industry, is particularly moving. It commends the high standards required from DS stylists, designers, engineers and craftspeople in order to create DS 7 CROSSBACK. A model that fully echoes the ambition of DS: to embody French innovation and luxury savoir-faire in every car we make,” explained Thierry Metroz. “Award for Best Interior”, Hôtel des Invalides is an exceptional setting in which to present Presidential DS 7 CROSSBACK and test drive DS 7 CROSSBACK pre-release; the latest edition of the Festival Automobile International showcases the first model in the DS second-generation range, alongside the boldness, excellence and avant-garde spirit that has been driving DS Automobiles for almost four years.

From 31 January to 4 February 2018, DS 7 CROSSBACK will be presented at the 33rd annual Festival Automobile International in Paris. Presidential DS 7 CROSSBACK will be showcased, a remarkable car specially designed for the inauguration of the 25th President of France, Emmanuel Macron. This model is a standard-bearer for the excellence of French savoir-faire. Alongside the presidential model, other DS 7 CROSSBACK models will be presented and offered for test drives on the streets of Paris, an exclusive, unique experience. Visitors can choose to drive between DS 7 CROSSBACK with Inspiration DS Opéra or DS 7 CROSSBACK with Inspiration DS Performance Line.

At the 34th edition of European Heritage Days, visitors to the Élysée Palace will have the opportunity to discover DS 7 CROSSBACK Presidential - an exceptional setting for this model which reflects the innovation and French savoir-faire so dear to the brand. With this one-off vehicle, DS Automobiles is honouring the tradition of the DS and SM cars used by the presidents of France's Fifth Republic. On 14 May, day of the inauguration of the new president of France, Emmanuel Macron travelled down the Champs-Elysées in this stunning vehicle. This was the first official outing for the car, which will be available to purchase in a few weeks' time, but which the most avant-garde have already reserved so as to be the first—after the president—to drive it.
