CITROËN C4 PICASSO: 500,000 VEHICLES SOLD!
Citroën's C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso were launched in 2013 and modernised in autumn 2016. The MPV duo has been a huge success, with half a million vehicles sold worldwide.
The Citroën C4 Picasso has been a big hit with car buyers, and recently surpassed half a million vehicles sold in just four years.
After the launch of a five-seater model in June 2013 and a seven-seater model (Grand C4 Picasso) in September 2013, this second-generation C4 Picasso was modernised in 2016. It now offers improved technological features, such as: a new touchscreen tablet, 3D navigation system with voice recognition, hands-free tailgate, sign recognition, adaptive cruise control with stop function, and much more.
All of those features make the C4 Picasso a leader in its segment. In addition to optimal spaciousness, versatility and comfort (panoramic windscreen, individual rear seats, front passenger seat with electric calf rest, etc.), it also offers excellent road-going qualities (latest-generation BlueHDi and PureTech engines, EAT6 automatic gearbox, etc.).
Year after year, the Citroën C4 Picasso proves to be a popular choice among consumers, with:
- three leading markets: France (no. 1), Spain (no. 2) and the UK (no. 3)
- the most fully equipped models (Feel and Shine) accounting for over 80% of sales
- vehicles with the latest-generation automatic gearbox (EAT6) accounting for roughly 45% of sales.
