A turbulent Rally Italia Sardegna drives Mads Ostberg and Torstein ERIKSEN to give an extraordinary performance and over come every obstacle thrown their way.

After producing some first-class performances on Croatia’s brand-new stages, C3 Rally2 enjoyed a successful debut on the Portuguese gravel with podiums for Mads Østberg in the WRC2 and Yohan Rossel in the WRC3. The #C3Rally2Family drivers all showed their ability to adapt on the particularly demanding Rally de Portugal stages.

Four C3 Rally 2 crews discovered the unique 1270.89km tarmac roads of Zagreb and its surrounding countryside, a new addition to the World Rally Championship calendar this year. Despite the unpredictable conditions over the course of this incomparable round, the efficiency and resilience of C3 Rally 2 prevailed.

Citroën Racing remains centre stage in the rallying world with the performances of C3 Rally2. WRC2 World Champion and European Champion in 2020, the Red Army’s ultimate customer racing machine has established itself with authority as the leading car of its class. Competing once again this season in the WRC2 and the ERC, C3 Rally2 will also be racing in 17 countries across Europe and the Americas.

Citroën Racing renews its faith in Mads Østberg and his co-driver Torstein Eriksen, longstanding members of the #C3Rally2Family, as C3 Rally2 aims to defend its WRC 2 world title. The Tagai Racing Technology team, on behalf of which the Norwegian crew is already competing in the Hungarian Rally Championship, will be in charge of running this new programme among the elite of Rally2 racing.

Citroën Rally Team Hungary has signed for its third season in the Hungarian Rally Championship, a world champion driver and co-driver. Last year’s WRC2 champion Mads Ostberg and co-driver Torstein Eriksen will make their 2021 debut with the latest developments of the Citroën C3 Rally 2 provided by Tagai Racing Technology (TRT) in the Hungarian Open Rally Championship.
