ALFA ROMEO CALLS ON ALFISTI FANDOM FOR NAMING OF NEXT MODEL

Alfa Romeo will be calling on the help of its extensive community of fans, the Alfisti, to decide the name of the brand’s next new car.

Known in-house as “Kid”, the new model will be a Sports Urban Vehicle (SUV). “The little one” in the lineup will join the Giulia saloon, Stelvio SUV and new Tonale to complete the range.

The addition of the new Alfa Romeo “Kid” sees the brand continue to expand its selection in the popular SUV segment, with its sporty DNA moving into the world of urban cars.

While the Tonale stood for the brand’s “metamorphosis” as it made its debut in the world of electrification, the upcoming Alfa Romeo will serve as its debut to full-electric.

The new Alfa Romeo model is due to break cover in the first half of 2024, although it's already the talk of the town with expert automotive designers coming up with various hypotheses in relation to its design.

After the Giulia marked the brand’s renaissance, Alfa Romeo selected the names of two mountain passes, the Stelvio and the Tonale, however Alfa Romeo has ruled out the new name being “Brenner”, another Alpine mountain pass, which has been widely discussed online.
