- In the second round of Spanish F4, Thailand's Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak comes out on top at Jerez de la Frontera.

The motorsport-filled 2022 continues for the Abarth Scorpione in the most important FIA-certified F4 series. On the weekend of May 28th and 29th the Tatuus powered by the 180 hp Abarth 1.4 T-Jet engine will be back on track in the Spanish F4 series, at its second round on the Jerez circuit, and in the British F4, now in its third round of the season on the Thruxton track.
The starting grid is getting more and more crowded for the Spanish F4, which, on the 4423 metres of the Jerez de La Frontera circuit, will see the young talents who, after the inaugural round at Portimao, will face their first commitment on Iberian soil. At the top of the standings, Thailand's Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak (THA - MP Motorsport) has a six-point lead over Australian Hugh Barter (AUS - Campos Racing). Expected to redeem himself is Bulgarian Nikola Tsolov (BUL - MP Motorsport) who, despite an excellent performance in qualifying, is relegated to fourth in the overall standings. The second round of the season will start on Saturday 28 May with two free practice sessions and the first qualifying session at 14.55. Race 1 (25 min + 1 lap) scheduled on Saturday at 17.15. Sunday's second qualifying session at 9.00 am with the 18-minute plus one-lap sprint race starting at 11.20 am, while the third race will see the lights go out at 2.45 pm. All races will be broadcast live on the series' Twitch and YouTube channels.
It will be, instead, the fast circuit of Thruxton to host the third round of the British F4 with Alex Dunne (IRL - Hitech Grand Prix) who will try to stretch his lead in the standings over Oliver Gray (GBR - Carlin), still in the hunt for his first win, but consistent in the first two rounds of the season. On the 3792 metres of the "fastest circuit in the United Kingdom" all eyes will also be on the American Ugo Ugochukwu (USA - Carlin), the Briton Joseph Loake (GBR - JHR Developments) and the Korean Michael Shin (KOR - Virtuosi Racing). Qualifying is scheduled for Saturday at 11.10am with the first 20-minute race starting at 4.05pm. On Sunday, the other two races on the track built around Hampshire Airport will start at 12.20pm and 4.30pm and will be broadcast live on ITV4.
