- Three different winners in the first round of the Iberian series with 30 Abarth-powered Tatuus at the start.
- Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak (THA - MP Motorsport) thanks to his second place in race 1, the win in race 2 and the fifth place in the sprint race is leading the overall classification.
- Nikola Tsolov (BUL - Campos Racing) is the leader among rookies, fourth overall. One pole position, victory in the sprint race and the three fastest laps for the Bulgarian driver.
Three hard-fought races opened the Spanish F4 Championship season at the Algarve Circuit in Portimao. 30 Tatuus F4 T-421 powered by the 180 hp Abarth 1.4 T-Jet engine were on hand to set the first round of the Spanish series ablaze, with victories for Hugh Barter (AUS - Campos Racing), Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak (THA - MP Motorsport) and Nikola Tsolov (BUL - Campos Racing), with the Thai driver immediately taking the overall lead after an excellent start to the season.
In race 1 Tsolov was unable to take advantage of his pole position start, stalling on the grid and being overtaken by the entire pack. The fight in the first half of the race saw Barter fend off attacks from Tymoteusz Kucharczyk (POL - MP Motorsport) and Italian Valerio Rinicella (ITA - MP Motorsport), who was then forced to the back of the field after a collision with his teammate. In the final laps, Kucharczyk himself had to give way to Inthraphuvasak, who took second place on the podium.
In race 2, Inthraphuvasak was once again the star. Starting from pole position, the Thai driver resisted the attacks of race 1 winner Barter and his teammate Kucharczyk. Filip Jenic (SRB - Campos Racing) was able to take advantage of the battle at the end and managed to snatch second place, also thanks to the two second penalty given to Kucharczyk for repeatedly exceeding the limits of the Lusitanian track.
In race 3, the sprint race lasting 18 minutes plus one lap, Nikola Tsolov took his first win in a race marked by a double intervention of the safety car. In the few minutes of racing available, the Bulgarian was able to defend his position with Tymoteusz Kucharczyk securing second place ahead of Suleiman Zanfari (MAR - MP Motorsport).
The next round of the Spanish F4 Championship is scheduled for 28-29 May at Jerez de la Frontera.
