RAM joins Red Bull KTM Factory Racing in celebrations of Jeffrey Herlings' record-breaking victory and breathtaking 102nd career win at Spanish GP

The historic moment of Jeffrey Herlings and the whole Red Bull KTM Factory Racing is going on. In fact, the Dutch rider is writing a legendary chapter in his personal career and in MXGP: in the Spanish GP at Intu Xanadú (Arroyomolinos, Madrid), the sixth stage of this 2023 championship, the KTM factory rider took the breathtaking victory number 102 in his career, as well as the first 1-1 win of his season.

With this result Herling rightfully enters the legend of the sport, overcoming the icon Stefan Everts, after equaling his 101 wins last week with the first position achieved on the Agueda - Portugal circuit. The rider from Geldrop sets the new benchmark with 102 Grand Prix and 192 heat wins. In this triumphant weekend, Andrea Adamo took third place and thus celebrated his fourth MX2 podium in six heats.

“I'm super happy to have improved my total win total and set a new record for GP wins. A lot of riders have stepped up this year and everyone is pushing hard, so I didn't expect to win again right away. There are so many of us competing every time, and I didn't imagine I would win three of the first six races. I hope to win a couple more titles in my career!” - Stated the rider at the end of the race day. Round seven of this MXGP season will be the French GP in Villars sous Ecot on the weekend of May 20 and 21.

RAM alongside KTM teams in 2023 with a special driver: Jeffrey Herlings

Today, more than ever, RAM is proud to be official partner of the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing teams, a collaboration renewed for this season as well, and celebrates the new success of Jeffrey Herlings. The American brand, which is also an official partner of the MXGP Championship this 2023, is providing the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing teams with four RAM 1500s for traveling during the season's races: two RAM 1500 TRX models – on of which is assigned to a special driver: Jeffrey Herlings –, one RAM 1500 Rebel, and one RAM Laramie. In addition, RAM will maintain its presence on the racing circuits in all the championship’s stages. RAM vehicles will be strategically located on-site at the events, along the track and around the paddock; the brand will also be there at all the structural and media elements relating to the organization of each event. A special factor in terms of visibility was the restored MXGP and MX2 qualifiers on Saturday: the U.S. brand is their main sponsor, so much so they are known as the RAM Qualifying Races.
