It was an unforgettable weekend for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, which celebrates the milestone crossed by Jeffrey Herlings. In fact, on Sunday, April 30, at the Agueda circuit (Portugal), the Dutch rider entered MXGP history by getting the first position and winning the day: a success with a different flavor from the others, since it was victory number 101 in his GP career. With this result, the KTM factory rider equals Stefan Everts, the absolute legend of the sport.

“It’s really great to come and get another win. It’s been a long road and I feel I am getting back to my old self in some ways. A good performance today. The first moto wasn’t that positive and I had some arm-pump again – I really don’t know why – but in the second one I could really push. 101 GP wins is pretty special and now just one more for the record.” - Stated the rider at the end of the race day.

The fifth round of the MXGP 2023 Championship saw the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing teams in the crown, with Andrea Adamo narrowly missing the MX2 podium, finishing fourth but confirming his second position in the World Championship. Liam Everts, on the other hand, finished 15th on the weekend that marked Sacha Coenen's MX2 debut with the team, 14th for him. Round six of this MXGP season is scheduled for next weekend, with the Spanish GP.

RAM alongside KTM teams in 2023
RAM celebrates the success of Jeffrey Herlings as an official partner of the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing teams, a collaboration renewed for this season as well. The American brand, which is also an official partner of the MXGP Championship this 2023, is providing the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing teams with four RAM 1500s for traveling during the season's races: two RAM 1500 TRX models, one RAM 1500 Rebel, and one RAM Laramie. In addition, RAM will maintain its presence on the racing circuits in all the championship’s stages. RAM vehicles will be strategically located on-site at the events, along the track and around the paddock; the brand will also be there at all the structural and media elements relating to the organization of each event. A special factor in terms of visibility was the restored MXGP and MX2 qualifiers on Saturday: the U.S. brand is their main sponsor, so much so they are known as the RAM Qualifying Races.
