24 Heures du Mans: The sun rises on Team Peugeot TotalEnergies

The sun rises on the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit and the Team Peugeot TotalEnergies is still fighting after a second part of the night without any issues.
After the PEUGEOT 9X8 #94 went off track during the 11th hour, Gustavo Menezes, Loïc Duval and Nico Müller let their way through the field with a solid rhythm all night long, avoiding all the traps the LE mans night through their way. In the morning, the PEUGEOT 9X8 #94 is standing 10th.
The PEUGEOT 9X8 #93 is 5th after 18 hours of racing. Drivers Jean-Eric Vergne, Mikkel Jensen and Paul Di Resta drove safely, making no mistakes, putting down the kilometres all night long. This consistency combined with a rapid pace allowed them to climb up the classification.
Unlike yesterday, the weather today should be sunnier for the last six hours of racing.
WHAT THEY SAID:
Jean-Marc Finot – Stellantis Motorport Senior VP: “Since the 12th hour, we maintained our pace with both the #93 and the #94. Considering the gap with the other competitors there is no change of position possible right now. Nevertheless, we still have to keep the cars reliable, and we have to keep dealing with the incidents as we did until now and maintain our consistent rhythm. Other competitors had some incidents that allowed us to go up through the field. It is important to note that since the #93 went off track on Saturday afternoon, the PEUGEOT 9X8 gained 9th standings in the classifications due to its consistency.”
