Maurizio Zuares appointed new global Chief Commercial Officer at Maserati

Maserati is pleased to announce the appointment of Maurizio Zuares as its new global Chief Commercial Officer, effective January 1, 2025. Maurizio will succeed Luca Delfino, who is leaving the company to pursue new opportunities. Maserati extends its heartfelt thanks to Luca for his exceptional contributions and dedication during his tenure.

Modena, 23 December 2024 – Maserati is pleased to announce the appointment of Maurizio Zuares as its new global Chief Commercial Officer, effective January 1, 2025. Maurizio will succeed Luca Delfino, who is leaving the company to pursue new opportunities. Maserati extends its heartfelt thanks to Luca for his exceptional contributions and dedication during his tenure.

Maurizio Zuares brings a wealth of experience and a truly international perspective to the Modena-based luxury brand. Maurizio began his career in Italy at Ford, progressively taking on responsibilities in Sales and Brand Management. Having joined the Fiat Group’s Automotive Division in 1999, he has held a variety of leadership positions in sales and marketing across multiple markets. His career includes serving as President of Fiat Auto Japan in 2004, International Sales Director in 2009, Managing Director for the Spanish market in 2011, CEO of FCA France in 2012, and Head of Middle East in 2016. Since 2019, Maurizio has been responsible for Business Centers Operations for the EMEA region, overseeing markets outside Italy. At Stellantis, he served as CEO of Spain and Portugal before assuming the responsibility for Leapmotor International in the Enlarged Europe region, further diversifying his industry expertise.

Maurizio holds a degree in Business and Management and an MBA in Economics, Finance, and Administration from the Universitá degli Studi di Ancona and the Istao Institute, Italy.
