FIAT Professional is participating in the 62nd edition of the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, which is taking place until September 3. The German trade fair is a benchmark event in Europe for manufacturers and final customers of recreational vehicles.
On the Stellantis stand, FIAT Professional is present with a fully equipped Ducato Van, representing one of the most frequently chosen and appreciated configurations by customers. Visitors to the biggest recreational vehicle trade fair in Europe will be able to see up close and personal all the secrets of the model with over 40 years of success behind it, having been elected “Best Motorhome Base Vehicle” for 15 years running by the readers of the specialized German magazine Promobil. Moreover, the first six months of 2023 confirm that Ducato is overcoming the tough 2022, with more than doubled production to better meet the intense customer’s demand.

The FIAT Professional Ducato stands out for its impressive technology and best-in-class Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), designed to enhance the driving and parking experience while prioritizing safety. This technology ensures the utmost safety for families who choose the Ducato as their preferred vacation "nest." The optional "advance safety" pack offers customers a lot of innovative benefits, including Adaptive Cruise Control and Intelligent Speed Assist, which respectively adjust the vehicle's speed to maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead and set the speed to stay within the limit.

In addition to that, the Driver Drowsiness Detection system is designed to continuously monitor the driver's behavior and accurately detect early signs of fatigue or drowsiness, while the Full Brake Control system is capable of identifying not only the vehicle ahead, but also unforeseen obstacles like pedestrians and cyclists. To take safety to even greater heights, the Lane Control system takes an active role in managing the vehicle's trajectory. By continuously analyzing the prevailing traffic conditions with the assistance of a discreetly positioned front camera on the windscreen, it ensures that the Ducato stays firmly on course, offering a sense of reassurance to the driver and passengers alike.

To add to these innovative specs, the Central Mirror becomes a Digital 8,9” LCD high-resolution display that provides an unobstructed and clear view of the road behind while driving, thanks to a wide-angle, high-definition camera located inside the rear third stop lamp bracket. Inclusion of technology like Blind Spot Detection and Rear Cross Path uses radar sensors to detect upcoming vehicles that are not visible because in the blind-spot angle of the rear-view mirrors or upcoming from the side when driving back and help avoiding accidents in maneuvering.
All these state-of-the-art features, which consumers have grown accustomed to in their car driving experience, seamlessly transfer to the FIAT Professional Ducato, providing a secure, enjoyable, familiar, and exceptionally functional journey.

The exterior look of the displayed Ducato is characterized by the new full LED headlamps with black interior finishing, which represent the top offer in terms of exterior lighting and are 30% brighter than halogen lamps. The interiors feature a full digital cluster that can immediately and clearly provide practical journey information and alerts, with a great deal of flexibility to meet drivers’ real-world requirements. On top of all this is the new Infotainment system with 10” Radio NAV touchscreen HD color display with built-in wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto for mirroring apps and maps and navigation embedded. As a complete offer, the 10” radio is linked with a new full digital cluster display that combines 7” color display with digital gauges offering clear and customized display of information including navigation and driver assistance systems intervention.
In addition, the Ducato base for motorhome is available with a latest generation internal combustion engine which provides up to 180 hp power output, combined with manual gearbox and nine-speed automatic transmission.

At Dusseldorf, Fiat Professional joins the Stellantis stand which is particularly evocative, based on precise and strategic communications guidelines that reflect the positioning as a “family for families”: a family of products expanded two years ago as a result of the merger between the FCA and PSA Groups, offering the opportunity to extend and complement the line-up.
