LONDON E-PRIX: DS AUTOMOBILES TACKLES THE FINAL RACES OF FORMULA E SEASON 9

• Season 9 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship draws to a close in London this weekend
• DS Automobiles and PENSKE AUTOSPORT are currently fifth in the teams’ standings
• Two-time Formula E champion Jean Eric Vergne and reigning champion Stoffel Vandoorne are fifth and 11th in the drivers’ classification respectively

On Saturday and Sunday, the British capital will host the final two rounds of Season 9 of the

ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. And for the third consecutive year, it will be London’s ExCel circuit welcoming the 22 drivers on the grid. It’s a unique circuit that runs partly indoors through the exhibition centre, and it’s set to be the scene for plenty of drama once more.

After 14 races held over the last seven months, DS Automobiles and its partner PENSKE AUTOSPORT come to England placed fifth in the teams’ classification. In the drivers’ standings, Jean-Eric Vergne – the sport’s only two-time champion – is fifth, while reigning champion Stoffel Vandoorne is 11th.

For the French manufacturer, which claimed double titles in 2019 and 2020, the objective is clear: to finish the season as strongly as possible.

The races will take place on Saturday and Sunday at 18:00 (CET)

We were thrilled with JEV’s victory in India, Stoffel’s pole position in Sao Paulo, and the podiums in Cape Town and Berlin. But we’ve also had some difficult moments, which we will capitalise on to enter Season 10 in an even stronger and more solid way. London will give us the chance to end the season with some good results and finish on the podium in both championships. We’ve worked hard for this and will do our very best to achieve that goal.”
